Christian Bau was born on 14 January 1971 in Offenburg, Germany.

1987 - 1990 Apprenticeship at the „Hotel Götz Sonne-Eintracht“ in Achern
1991 Hotel-Restaurant „Talmühle“ in Sasbachwalden
1991 - 1992 Basic military service at the officer's mess in Achern
1992 - 1993 Restaurant „Le Canard“ in Offenburg             
1993 - 1998 Sous chef at the restaurant „Schwarzwaldstube“ (Hotel Traube Tonbach) in Baiersbronn
Since April 1998 Chef de cuisine and host of Victor’s Gourmet-Restaurant Schloss Berg in Perl-Nennig
